korg VOLCA &GUITAR live SESSION - AMBIENT CHILL LOUNGE JAM (volca beats ...

KORG VOLCA Series & Guitar on an CHILL AMBIENT LIVE SESSION with Roland Juno 60, Jomox Xbase 09 (jazbase Edition), Nord Modular, Doepfer MS 404 (at the end). Main synths are Volca Keys, Bass & Beats with individual Hi Hat Output. I have described in the video (filmed with 3 cams), what Synths are playing/muted. So you don't have to guess the different sounds.

First time I added to the whole track additional video material from street scenes in Dresden, filmed with Leica and Canon 5D MK II with a very old Zeiss Jena Biometar 80mm with Tilt-Adapter for a different look

Vamaha RM1x is only used as sequencer and MIDI-Clock Master, Beats has MIDI-Out Mod and syncs my Boomerang III Looper. Recorded without overdubs, Noise Reduction and mastering in just one take.

TL Audio Fat Track Tube Production Suite

Fat Track is the newest member of the Volcarock-studio-family :-)
Future Tracks will be recorded through it. I will use it as my main Mixer to warm up and sum all guitar & synth signals during my live-playing / recording.

Because I don't play my guitar through real tube amps, I use the tube-preamp of the Fat Track to warm up my guitar. The stereo-signal of my pedalboard (with all FX) goes directly into Channel 1 and 2 of the Fat Track,

Behringer Xenix 802 is the Submixer for all Korg Volcas and goes into channel 3&4 of the Fat Track. Soundcraft Spirit M12 is the Submixer for all other synths (Waldorf, Doepfer, Roland, Jomox, Clavia...) and goes into channel 5&6 of the Fat Track.

All channels can be driven soft or hard through the 2nd output tube. And the Fat Track sounds amazing! Warm, big, brilliant but never harsh! It's really a great way to sum the signals analog before they will be recorded through the Fat Tracks main out with my Tascam DR-40 in 24 bit/96 kHz.

KORG VOLCA LIVE SESSION w AMBIENT GUITAR (Drone/Looping/Soundscape) Keys...

KORG VOLCA Series on an AMBIENT psychedelic LIVE SESSION with ambient guitar live loops (Drones) & Roland Juno 60, Jomox Xbase 09 (only percussion). Main synths are Volca Keys, Bass and Beats with individual Hi Hat Output. The Main Output of VOLCA BEATS goes to the Filter Input of my DOEPFER MS-404. I have described in the video (filmed with 3 cams), which Synths are playing and muted. So you don't have to guess the different sounds.

In the middle of the session I used Waldorf Puls I for a Sample&Hold-sound, too. Yamaha RM1x is just used as Master MIDI-Clock (no use of internal sounds). Beats has MIDI-Out Mod and syncs my Boomerang III Looper, which is running in free mode. all synths use their internal sequencer/arp or are played live.
Recorded without overdubs and mastering in just one take.

I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT
